So, I'm still here.

It's raining outside and I've got less than fourty eight hours until my plane ride back.

I love it here, no matter what the weather happens to be like, or how long my cousin spends talking on the phone to her boyfriend in California.

I miss my friends, of course.

And debate.

I miss movies at Ron's, and emails with Ted, and random mall excursions with kids that I haven't seen in way too long.

But when I leave, I'll miss a lot of things too.

Like waking up to posters of gorgeous men, staying up until 4 am with Bailey, concerts, bowling, my boyfriend, Lavanya and Dhru and the whole gang.

I'll miss the innocence, and the late afternoons, basketball in our pajamas, my dad, cooking, and quoting Salad Fingers.

I'll miss people and places and the way everything just seems to work, even when it doesn't.

So here's my early, depressing goodbye to Cheshire.

And to the next year with all of my own amazing friends.

Until next summer, Connecticut... just a few months away.
